The lowest fourth innings score that was successfully defended was by Australia against England in the test match at the Oval in 1882. England needed 85 to win but they were bowled out for 77 thereby giving victory to Australia by 7 runs.
Record for the only Batsman who has scored centuries against all Test playing countries:
The only batsman to have scored a hundred against all test-playing countries is Steve Waugh. The Australian Captain achieved this feat when he made 150 against India at Adelaide in 1999-2000.
